Severe weather has continued throughout the night. Port Botany remains closed to harbour movements and we understand that the situation will be reassessed at 1:30pm this afternoon. There is no quayline or landside activity at DP World's Port Botany terminal pending an improvement in weather conditions. Vessels alongside have storm lines out and our cranes are pinned to the wharf.

There weather impact is under constant review. Labour is standing by and as soon as conditions improve, and it is safe to do so, work will resume immediately.
